Lindsey graduated in 2001 from Auburn University, where he was President of the Student Government Association. Lindsey and his wife, Sara Jo – also a 2001 Auburn graduate – served in campus ministry for four years with Campus Crusade for Christ (now Cru), first as missionaries in East Asia then back at Auburn working with student leaders. They left full-time ministry for Lindsey to attend law school around the time they started having children, but those years in campus ministry shaped their lives and walk with God significantly. For the last decade, they have led and hosted small groups in their Birmingham home, first as members at Cahaba Park PCA and now at Homewood Community Church PCA. Lindsey and Sara have four children.
